An agreement offering special rights to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) by India’s Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission to train people in the textile sector under the Mukhya Mantri Kaushalya Yojana in Bhopal. The month-long training in 10 or 12 courses depending on industry demand will be received by the candidates.
NIFT will train around 10,000 candidates in collaboration with several industries, which will recruit at least 70 per cent of the trainees as per guidelines of the scheme, according to official sources.
The trainees will receive certificates after the completion of their course from the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship. Four courses related to spinning have already been identified.
