300 Exhibitors from 18 countries are participating in the largest fashion, clothing and textile exhibitions, “Saudi Fashion & Tex Expo”, which kicked off yesterday at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, with the aim of enhancing the opportunities of exhibitors and designers in the sector, and meeting the requirements of changing global markets. Saudi Fashion Entrepreneurs Club revealed that 11 diverse workshops will be held on visual identity, branding, creativity, innovation, fashion project management and haute couture techniques on the sidelines of the events, and confirmed that it will work to invest in the global event to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a major destination in the world of fashion, by benefiting from the best expertise and experiences in the fashion community.
Suhaila Hafez, President of the Fashion Pioneers Club, said that the exhibition in its second edition is of great importance as a global event in Saudi Arabia, as the club’s participation comes from its interest in highlighting the role of Saudi female designers and their creativity in the field of design, fashion and style, noting that the club is not just a gathering of fashion lovers, but rather a partner in building a strong and sustainable fashion industry in the Kingdom, by organizing shows and events, supporting young creators, and providing a platform for displaying the latest designs, with the aim of activating the vital sector that contributes significantly to creating job opportunities and supporting the national economy, as well as encouraging tourism and enhancing cultural identity.
Confirmed that the club will offer creative workshops aimed at developing the skills of aspiring designers in the field of fashion, covering the latest techniques and methods adopted in design and production to ensure that participants receive a distinguished educational experience. It will also hold distinguished educational seminars led by experts and specialists in the field of fashion, where vital topics such as fashion sustainability, the use of technology in the fashion industry, and the development of global trends will be discussed. It will also hold fruitful interactive sessions that help exchange ideas and experiences and expand the network of professional relationships.
