The 45th edition of India International Knit Fair (IIKF), Tirupur organised by India Knit Fair Association (IKFA) begins today at IKFA Complex, Tirupur. The fair is inaugurated by HKL Magu, Chairman, Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) and V. Sathyabama, Member of Parliament, Tirupur.
The three-day fair will witness nearly 50 foreign buyers from across the globe and the exhibitors will display their collections at the fair dedicated to knit garments.
Over 50 exhibitors are participating at the garment fair. Some of the prominent exhibitors are Eastman Exports Global Clothing, Poppys Knit Wear, etc. Apart from overseas buyers, nearly 100 buying houses and buying agents from New Delhi and Mumbai will also be visiting the fair.
The fair organisers is offering air tickets and accommodation to some of the buyers and buying houses.
A Sakthivel, Chairman IKFA said, “We are expecting good business through this fair. We have invited good buyers and many good buying houses that especially source knitted garments.”
