Ahmedabad and India based eco-friendly and organic clothing brand, ‘Bhu:sattva’ is planning a foray into the US and Canadian markets in the next year. Till now, the brand which focused on the West Asian and South American markets is also planning to launch accessories like footwear, jewellery, scarves, handbags, essential oil and neckpieces.
Bhu:sattva plans to encash sentiments in the two markets, driven by awareness of social responsibility and the health benefits of organic clothing.
“This benefit makes the consumer base perfect for Bhu:sattva and it has already gained initial traction in these countries,” Jainam Kumarpal, founder of Bhu:sattva said.
According to Kumarpal, sustainable fashion has started gaining popularity in recent times as they have witnessed a 60 to 65 per cent increase in demand since 2012.
