Co-optex is well on its way to achieve its ‘Pongal’ target of Rs. 85 crore, having achieved remarkable sales in the last few days, in Tamil Nadu and other states, Co-optex MD, Mr. TN Venkatesh said.
The good response for its products through exhibitions in other states has prompted the agency to organise more such exhibitions which were earlier held in Mysore, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Secunderabad and Bhopal, with one ongoing in Kolhapur.
“Co-optex, which is completing 80 years, is now planning to open more retail outlets in newer regions and will also try to tap new avenues like educational and industrial institutions,” Mr. Venkatesh said.
The brand has recently opened three new outlets in Kottayam in Kerala, Bangalore and Mumbai, which has helped it reach a retail store network of 200.
He also said Co-optex has set a sales target of Rs. 350 crore for this fiscal year, which also includes the Pongal festival.
