A new men’s fashion-centric section will be introduced at the upcoming August, 2015 calendar of UK’s bi-annual trade fashion buying event ‘Pure London’.
The event, which previews women’s apparel, footwear and accessory collections for the next season, will launch a separate segment titled Pure Menswear, showcasing new lines from leading male clothiers for visiting buyers.
Aiming to fill a defined gap in the European market by bringing men’s and womenswear brands together under one roof, the transactional show will act as a one-stop destination for retailers seeking out premium, edited brands in all garment categories.
Speaking about the new addition, Lucy Walsh, commercial director of Pure London organiser i2i Events Group, said, “There is a real gap in the market for a London exhibition to showcase the best of both menswear and womenswear under one roof.”
“We have been asked to do this and are responding enthusiastically to the request. It’s a very exciting time and we already have some great brands lining up for the launch,” she said.
