Madeira, leading manufacturer of high quality embroidery threads and accessories worldwide to the Decorated Apparel Market now launches a new embroidery thread that offers the rugged appearance of cotton with the durability of acrylic.
Madeira’s new BurmilanaCo is a cousin to its popular Burmilana, the brand name for Madeira’s finely spun wool blend embroidery thread, 50% wool and 50% Acrylic, perfect for high speed computerised embroidery, overlocking and decorative stitching.
The new BurmilanaCo is a 12 weight machine embroidery thread that offers a hand-embroidered look. Available in 72 colours, it is more economical than the wool blend and is easy to run and provides a beautiful, subtle stitch out.
Madeira USA president Shirley Clark said that when they learned of the worldwide designers and decision makers that Madeira Germany has sent this new thread to, they now want to offer it to their US customers. The new embroidery thread is unique, bold, easy to run. For those who are fashion-minded, whether keeping up with trends or setting them, they will be extremely interested in seeing what this new specialty thread can produce.
