It’s a moment of great privilege and honor for Duke that His Excellency, Mr. Nils Ragnar Kamsvag, the Ambassador of Norway and Sr. Harinder Singh Khalsa, Former Diplomat at Norway & M.P. Lok Sabha visited Duke Fashions (India) Ltd. premises. The esteemed guest along with his delegates were welcomed by the Chairman, Mr. Komal Kumar Jain, Director Mr. Kuntal Raj Jain and along with his respective team Mr. Chander Shekhar, Mr. Nandan Jain, Mr. Ravinder Singh Baweja, Mr. Balkar Singh, Mr. Gagan Jain wholeheartedly by honoring with a flower bouquet.
Mr. Nils Ragnar Kamsvag is Norway’s Ambassador to India. An avid reader himself, he loves to read about the history and culture of his postings. Mr. Kamsvag along with guests took keen interest to see the complete functioning of different departments from designing to realization of the garments. He has appreciated the efforts put in by the company for the special facilities provided to the worker and staff members. In the chamber of Hon’ble Chairman and Managing Director, His Excellency had a pretty good time to know about the journey from inception to till now, developments and achievements of the company.
During his visit, he was very much impressed upon the retention strategy of the company, long term association of the staff members, digital initiative, online sales growth and automation in manufacturing. He said” I believe the garment sector will help sustainable development with its initiatives and projects.” He has also stated that he would love to have future prospects with garment industry i.e. Duke Fashions, so that both the nations can work together in the same direction. Mr. Komal Kumar Jain and Mr. Kuntal Raj Jain are very much eco-friendly and for Go-Green initiative, His Excellency have planted trees in the factory premises as this plant will always remain a memory with us and inspiration for others also. Mr. Kuntal Raj Jain and Mr. Kamsvag held elaborate discussions about prospects of mutual cooperation in garment sector. When Mr. Kuntal Raj Jain was asked, Is it an initiative to enter into European market and are you ready for it? He replied that we as Duke Fashions well Established Brand, Quality Conscious and Quality Consistent and also making the international standards. Hence, we are open to any market worldwide, not only European.
Mr. Jain shared that Duke is a value for money brand and our mission is to make available the international designs and styles. He offered complete assurance to Mr. Nils that they will get complete cooperation from our company. Mr. Kamsvag has taken a note of assurance that they shall succeed together.
Apart from that, the dignitaries also showed interest in knowing about the efforts and dedication shown by our staff members and the authorities in successfully carrying out the business activities. He expressed his delight to be with us in that moment.
Mr. Komal Kumar Jain honored the Ambassador by gifting him memento and Mr. Kamsvag also reciprocated the gesture. After his visit, he gave positive node to company that this visit would only be a beginning of a series of many more such fruitful sessions and the start of a productive relationship between Norway and Duke Fashions.
