Arvind Limited, leading textile and retailer player has plans to boost up its textiles business to Rs. 10,000 crores by 2023, Susheel Kaul, CEO, lifestyle fabrics, knits and wovens said. Currently it is Rs. 6,000 crores and further the company is planning to invest Rs. 1,500 crores from the regular cash flow of the company, over the next three years to meet its goal.
The brand is planning to increase its worth to Rs. 1,000 crores. The brand is also planning to grow the technical textiles division so that it will produce newer fabrics and the brand is focussing on athleisure and activewear garments, Kaul said.
Kaul quoted, “The important drivers to this increment will be more verticals, more garmenting, ramping up advanced materials division which is into specialised textiles, and adopting newer technologies that will boost up operations and build on the Arvind brand.”
