India’s largest quality vocational training provider for the apparel sector, Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) conducted an ‘Interactive Session’ for apparel manufacturing organizations, entrepreneurs (boutiques), apparel and fashion institutes at its Chandigarh center.
This session was conducted by ATDC Training of Trainers (TOT) Academy to showcase the wide range of workshops and trainings that have been conducted earlier to benefit the apparel industry Pan India. The main purpose was to understand the requirements of this area so that workshops and trainings may be customized to benefit the region of Chandigarh, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Industry professionals and Fashion Institutes such as Gini & Jony Limited, Eveline International Ludhiana, Active Clothing, Raymonds Store, Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (Mohali), International Institute of Fashion Designing, Home Science College etc. participated in the interactive session.
“Conducting such workshops helps us to understand the needs and the hurdles faced by the Apparel sector. Through such training by experienced trainers, we are able to create professionals who will accelerate the growth of the Apparel sector,” Roopali Shukla, advisor of ATDC-TOT said.
The session focused on discussing topics such as defining roles and responsibility, optimal utilization of human and capital resources, improving quality and its implementation techniques, enhancing productivity and efficiency and developing lean teams and lean manufacturing which would benefit the Apparel Industry.
“ATDC has brilliant ideas for training young professionals in the field of apparel and textile designing. ATDC assures training in the production, quality control and marketing of apparels,” Sangeeta Dewan, associate prof. from Govt. Home Science College said.
