“Bangladesh’s apparel industry will keep on growing in next many years as government is very supportive. And to support the industry for the future market, we are producing that kind of manpower which can really help it grow. Our university is further planning for expansion and focusing on diversified products in technical textiles like medical, geo and agriculture textiles. We would like to have state-of-the-art systems to provide diversified education to support the diversifications in the textile industry,” Mashud Ahmed said.
“Despite all the challenges we are working to achieve the apparel export target of 50 billion US dollar by 2021 and are very hopeful for the same. Energy is a major issue but by 2018, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) will be a substitute of the gas and that will be really helpful for the industry,” Shafiqur Rahman said.
