Home textiles giant Bombay Dyeing posted rise of 43.21 per cent in net profit to Rs 111.92 crore during the fourth quarter of year ended March 31 as compared to Rs 78.15 crore in third quarter of the year, according to company sources.
Diluted earnings per share reported by the company during this period stood at Rs 5.42 as compared to Rs 3.78 in Q3.
Net income from operations reported in Q4 was Rs 665.76 crore as compared to Rs 335.55 crore in the third quarter.
The textile segment posted a revenue of Rs 58.58 crore in the quarter as compared to Rs 48.69 crore previously. Polyester segment posted revenue of Rs 274.96 crore compared to Rs 242.64 crore prior quarter.
However, the textile segment posted a fall in profit during the period to Rs 13 crore as compared to Rs 16.81 crore previously. The polyester segment saw a fall in profit to Rs 1.94 crore as compared to Rs 3.86 crore in the prior quarter.
