The collaborative lingerie design venture between the American plus-size women’s fashion chain Lane Bryant and French designer Sophie Theallet has finally been released.
The holiday collection, which also marks Theallet’s foray into intimate apparel design, has been launched under the US-based clothier’s innerwear label ‘Cacique’.
Inspired from the Russian jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé-designed bejeweled Easter egg series, Fabergé, the plus-size range includes an array of soft pad-less bra styles in band sizes between 38 and 44 inches and cup sizes C to H.
Adorned with pretty bows, floral prints, embroidery and lace patters, the collection also features G-string style briefs, corsets, thigh-high stockings, lace eye masks, garter belts and bias-cut satin, lace and sheer mesh made nightgowns as well as ankle lounge pants.
Started in 1904, Lane Bryant operates through a network of more than 812 stores in nearly 46 U.S. states.
