The American hip hop recording artist and rapper 2 Chainz has recently launched a limited edition capsule collection in collaboration with the New York-based luxury denim brand Prps.
Jointly designed by the 37-year-old musician and the clothing label’s founder Donwan Harrell, the range features five pairs of men’s denim jeans with bold details inspired from the Georgia-born rapper’s personal style preferences.
The line is scheduled to be available from December 15, 2015 onwards. Prps jeans are manufactured from organically produced fibres in Africa. The company owns three brands- Prps Noir, Prps and Prps Goods & Co.
The label’s founder Harrell was one of the former top 10 designers at the sportswear brand Nike. He had created the uniforms for 2002’s soccer World Cup teams including Italy, Nigeria, Brazil, United States, Korea, Japan, Poland and Holland.
2 Chainz has won several Grammy Award nominations under Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album categories in the year 2013 and 2014.
