Embroidery machines, some of them new arrivals, dominated the second day of the ongoing ‘GarKnit-X 12th’, a machinery trade show at the Milan Mela ground in Kolkata.
Number of queries for such machines was notably high this year with visitors taking much interest for the same, managing director of a Japanese brand ‘Tajima’, Mr. Noboru Ito said. The brand has already sold two such giant mac hines last two days and enquiries are flooding the stall since opening day yesterday.
Although visitors on the morning hours were little bit low, it picked up with the advance of the day. There may be a good rush in the evening, the organizer sources predicted.
Altogether 40 manufacturers, both of international and domestic, two more than last year, are participating in the three-day fair. This year altogether eight upcoming entrepreneurs have set up their stalls. “This is a great opportunity for us to take part in such a trade show to project our products in the national level”, one of them said.
