Exhibitors reported brisk business with nearly 3,532 quality trade visitors at India’s premier and exclusive fabrics and accessories F&A Trade Show, which concluded its 13th Edition successfully.
Naresh Tyagi, head-PDQA, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle said that F&A Show has become a bench mark event for India and the show is growing year by year. He said the objectives of mission ‘Make in India’ was very well implemented at the three-day show.
Special highlights of the event were the Business Networking Forum, Trend Forum by Pearl Academy, Trend Forecast Seminar by WGSN, the Creatives Conclave, Heritage Artisan Crafts Exhibit and Fashion Show.
Suresh Balram, senior manager, Materials, Ralph Lauren, Bangalore, said, “The show was fantastic, it’s improving better and better every year. I met new vendors and I got particular item I was looking for. There should be equal participation of nets, wovens, man-made textiles, cotton textiles, trims etc.”
Eberhard Ganns, managing director, Union Knopf (HK) Limited, Hong Kong, noted, “We are regularly participating in F&A Show. This year the show was good. We have got 80 enquiries and 10 may get converted to order. I can say it’s the best show.”
With over 110 companies participating, the show had displayed new collections by leading textile and accessories manufacturers from around the country and overseas. All kinds of apparel fabrics, suiting, shirting, bottom weights, knitted, narrow, fleece, grey, corduroy, denim, velvet, embroidered fabrics and dress materials were also on display at the event. Visitors came from India and overseas like UK, U.A.E, Germany, Sri Lanka, Korea, Egypt, China and Dubai.
