Following the successful inaugural event last year in Dresden, Germany, the Future Materials Awards returns to ITMA 2015 being held in Milan, Italy from November 12.
The awards recognise innovation and achievement right across the technical textiles industry. “It comes with 19 dedicated categories providing competition for all end-use sectors for technical textiles as well as materials experts, product developers and designers,” a release from organiser said.
Categories include best innovations in sportswear, protective textiles, industrial textiles and medical textiles and entries are open for all awards until July 31.
World Textile Information Network (WTIN), publisher of international technical textiles magazine Future Materials, launched the awards to recognise success in textile innovation and celebrate the essential work of the many businesses which support the industry.
