The biggest industry show in the subcontinent, Garment Technology Expo (GTE) is all set for its 2018 editions. The Expo will begin from 19-22 January 2018, at NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla Estate, New Delhi.
The four-day fair will be patronized by trade professionals comprising manufacturers, exporters, CEOs, MDs and Production Heads, besides institutions and other volume consumers, who visit to see, compare and negotiate deals for new machinery. Designers, technical supervisors, shop floor managers, etc., visit to update themselves on new technologies, materials, latest product launches and new innovations.
GTE is known for showcasing the latest machines and processes. Nearly 85% of the participants in the initial editions of GTE continue to be steadfast. New innovations, product launches, product upgrades, live demonstrations, new materials, etc. are the cornerstone of each successive show. The profile of exhibitors participating in GTE include technology specialists in CAD/CAM, sewing, spreading, fusing, laundry, finishing, cutting, printing, embroidery, testing equipment, knitting, software solutions, spare parts, attachments and accessories & trims as well as those offering support services, trade publications, etc. Some of GTE’s patrons include HCA, IIGM, Magnum, Mehala, ALT, E.H.Turel, Tukatech, Ramsons, Colorjet, Jincheng, Dhaval, Pioneer, INL and Paramount.
Besides its regular participants, many new exhibitors have secured their space at GTE ‘18 – New Delhi, including Stalwart Engineering Co. (Smartex Laundry & Finishing Machines), Mobase Product (SWF Embroidery Machines), Starwhites (Laundry & Finishing Machines), Juki – India , Aalia Fashions (Fabrics) and others.
Garment Technology Expo’s flagship event, GTE New Delhi is held annually. The 24th edition – GTE’17 New Delhi brought together latest launches & products from 350 participants with over 820 brands from 18 countries. This show was patronized by over 21,700 trade visitors.
In its 25th edition GTE forged into the Gujarat super market with GTE Ahmedabad from 18-20 August, 2017. This had active support from The Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association (GGMA) and Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR). Over 230 participants and brands including leading manufacturers as well as suppliers of garment machinery & accessories from over 18 countries including Germany, Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea, Italy and India participate. The show attracted a total of 7,600 visitors.
GTE Bengaluru, having started in 2006 is held every alternate year. The 2016 show, held from 26-28 August, was keenly patronized by the apparel, made-ups and knitting machinery & accessories manufacturing and marketing companies.
The 26th edition – GTE‘18 New Delhi would be promising a unique combination of top of the line services at a central location, in an ambient setting. Therafter, the 27th Edition is slated for Bengaluru scheduled from 18-20 August 2018 at Dr. Prabhakar Kore Convention Center, Opp. Peenya Metro Station, Yashwantpur, Bengaluru.
