Fast fashion retailer H&M opened its second Kochi store and which is its 62nd outlet in India. The new store is located at Prestige Forum Mall in Kochi, while the first in Kochi is located in Edappally.
“Starting the new Indian fiscal year with a boom! H&M just opened its second store in Kochi at Prestige Forum Mall,” Louis Coucke, Country Controller – India at H&M said on a LinkedIn post. “This expansion is a testament to the brand’s commitment to growth and providing customers with elevated fashion in India,” Coucke added.
“Hello Kochi. We are coming to your city with our second store at Prestige Forum Mall. Avail up to 40% off selected items and the first 100 fashionistas in queue will receive an exclusive goodie bag. Happy Shopping,” the label also announced on Facebook.
Just a few weeks earlier the Swedish brand had opened outlets in Siliguri and Pune also. H&M which is a shortened name of Hennes & Mauritz first set foot in India in 2015 and within eight years has opened 62 stores across several cities of India.
Apart from retailing through brick and mortar stores, the H&M brand is available on its own ecommerce website and app and also on Myntra. The H&M Group has over 4,000 stores in more than 75 markets and online sales in 60 markets and has other brands like COS, Weekday, Monki, Arket, etc, which together employ around 143,000 worldwide. Each brand has its own unique identity, and together they complement each other and strengthen H&M Group, all to offer its customers unbeatable value and to enable a more circular lifestyle.
