Fast-fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz ( H&M ) is all set to launch its store in Delhi’s Connaught Place area on August 26, the company said in a statement.
“The city centre and iconic buildings of Connaught Place will serve as an exciting environment for customers to explore it’s offering of fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way”, elaborated Janne Einola, Country Manager, H&M India.
Spread over 28,000 sq.ft. and spanning across two levels the new store will be situated in a heritage building in the inner circle of Connaught Place.
H&M recently launched its first ever store in Mumbai at High Street Phoenix and is aiming open further stores at Pheonix Market City in Kurla, Phoenix Market city Mall in Pune and Express Avenue Mall in Chennai later this year.
The retailer which opened its first store in New Delhi’s Select City Walk Mall last year, had previously said it plans to open 50 single-brand retail stores in India through a foreign direct investment route with a total investment of $115-million. H&M currently operates around 3,900 stores across 59 countries.
