India Fashion Week London will celebrate desi fashion in the British capital from November 16 to 17 this year and will be the tenth anniversary edition of the runway show taking place at the Novotel London.
The fashion week is organised by Platinum Group and is designed to put Indian contemporary fashion on a global platform, according to its official website.
Sponsored by Johnnie Walker, India Fashion Week London will take place with its official event partner the JD Institute of Fashion Technology.
“Showcasing the latest trends and designs from emerging and top Indian designers, it brings together a diverse array of talent and creativity,” organisers of the India Fashion Week London said on their website.
“From traditional handloom textiles to cutting edge couture, the event offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian fashion,” they added.
“With captivating shows, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, India Fashion Week London serves as a melting pot of style and cultural exchange, leaving a lasting impression,” the website stated.
“The event held its most recent edition in 2023, with runway shows choreographed by Lokesh Sharma,” Fashion Network reported.
Participating designers included Urvashi Kaur, Pkin, Noureen Dhanani, Khinkhwab, House of Jediiians, The Frontrow Couture, Deepee’s Jodhpur, and Samant Chauhan.
