The 41st India Knit Fair, an exclusive international trade show on knit garments, will begin at Tirupur from tomorrow.
Organised by the India Knit Fair Association, the three-day fair will showcase autumn/winter/mid-summer collection 2016, and provide an ideal platform to build contact, develop business prospects, and work on major tie-ups and partnerships.
Geetha Muralidhar, chairman and managing director, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, Mumbai, will inaugurate the event where a wide variety of knitted apparel products and cotton blended garments will be on display. Those included pullovers, cardigans, dresses, skirts, hooded t-shirts, shorts, pyjamas, ensembles, blouses, golfing polo shirts, innerwear, boxers shorts, nightwear, leggings, sweat shirts, bustier sets, washed look garments, jogging suits, swimwear, track suits, etc. and an extensive collection of cotton blended garments for men, women, children and babies.
Nearly 100 buying houses, agents and 40 buyers from countries like Australia, Canada, Israel and Serbia, besides Japan, Singapore, UK, US, South Africa and UAE are expected to visit the fair, according to organiser sources.
