Turms, the Indian intelligent apparel brand renowned for its clothing with anti-stain, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-odour properties, has clinched a significant 1.2 crore deal on the popular reality show, ‘Shark Tank India’.
The highlight of Turms’ pitch centered around its diverse collection, featuring innovative offerings such as 30-day no-wash jeans, fearless white cotton shirts, AC cool tech t-shirts, and seven-day no-smell socks, among others.
Azhar Iqubal, co-founder and CEO of Inshorts, is set to finance the 1.2 crore deal with Turms.
Surendra Singh Rajpurohit, a former Turms customer turned owner, boldly acquired the company from its six co-founders in 2022. Under his leadership, the apparel brand has thrived, achieving remarkable sales of 400,000 apparel units to date.
The pitch received added star power with Indian cricketer MS Dhoni being counted among Turms’ esteemed customers.
