Karl Mayer will be displaying latest innovations in warp knitting, warp preparation, and technical textiles at India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) to be held in Mumbai on December 3. The company will be debuting its new lace machine concept – Lace Express, in India and its complete indigo dyeing unit Prodye too.
For the warp knitting business unit, Karl Mayer will be showing the HKS 3-M as another representative of the fourth generation of high-performance tricot machines, and the HKS 4-M EL, the high-speed machine with new patterning possibilities and productivity.
The HKS 4-M EL can be used to produce lightweight and delicate fabrics in lace look for the apparel sector. While the HKS 3-M machine can be used to produce rigid sportswear textile with a filigree and grainy surface in woven look.
Innovative solutions for sizing, sectional warping and for the denim business will be presented by Karl Mayer’s warp preparation business unit. The exhibits include a smart size box which operates on the basis of the spray technology, thus, minimising the process costs, and the new Isomatic – a short warp sampling machine for standard applications with excellent price-performance ratio.
In the field of technical textiles, Karl Mayer will be offering a meeting point with information for the manufacture of reinforcement layer fabrics for composites. The fibre-reinforced composite materials can be used for wide-ranging applications from sports equipment to aircraft.
