Loftex China Ltd is now able to mark their few selected towel products with the ‘Made in Green’ Oeko-Tex label.
“This means that these selected products have successfully passed a test for harmful substances in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100,” Oeko-Tex stated in a press release. The company also certified with STeP by Oeko-Tex, has demonstrated that these textiles are produced in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner.
In 2014, Loftex China Ltd was one of the first companies in China to have their production facilities certified in accordance with STeP by Oeko-Tex.
Loftex China is a vertical and professional towel manufacturer and vendor, combining all processes from weaving, bleaching, printing, dyeing and finishing at five sites in China and employs 2,700 people.
Since its inception in 1980, the company has developed into one of the largest suppliers of towel products in the world and exports products to over 30 countries, including the US, Japan, Australia and several European countries.
“Walmart, Target, Macy’s, J.C. Penney, Kohl’s, Disney, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Asda, and Aldi are some of their top customers,” Oeko-Tex informed.
