The British denim retailer, Pepe Jeans has recently opened its 219thstore in Hyderabad and planning to open 40 – 50 retail outlets in the upcoming years to strengthen its omni-channel presence.
In addition to outlet expansion, the denim brand also launched recently an athleisure product category in India.
The brand is available in the major metro cities and also present in Tier II and III cities in India. Neha Shah, Marketing Head, Pepe Jeans India said, “The denim brand has been at the forefront of international denim-led fashion for the past 44 years and now is considering retail expansion in India.”
The brand has also roped in Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra as its brand ambassador to promote itself in the young Indian fashion market. The brand procures the benefits of the liberalised policy in India which allows the foreign single brand retailer to own both their stores and franchise outlets.
Pepe manufactured casual wears for men, women and kids which are retailed through 234 EBOs, over 1350 MBOs and 503 LFS across India. Additionally, Pepe Jeans is also retailed through e-retailers such as Myntra, Amazon, Jabong, Ajio and Cilory.
