Pepe Jeans, the international denim led fashion brand is planning to strengthen its retail footprint by opening 20-30 exclusive stores in India by the end of this year.
Recently, it has celebrated its 219th store in Hyderabad which came soon after its store in Pune earlier this month. The retail store is located in Habsiguda area of the city which is spread over 1,350 square feet of area.
“The new store in Hyderabad is a perfect gateway to an all new internationally driven experience of fashion,” Tejaswini S Nigam and Chetan Thakur from the India design & VM team of Pepe Jeans London said.
From the past 44 years, the British denim brand is standing at the forefront internationally. The brand celebrated its new store by decorating with fun props like lamps, trunks, spools, etc. to make it visually appealing. Pepe’s team based in India will look after the establishment process of stores, visual merchandising and overall store operations.
The fashion retailer, which has a presence in 61 countries across the globe, is also reportedly gearing up to open its first three stores in Indonesia by next month while the fourth store will go operational by August this year.
In India, it operates through a joint venture with Aditya Birla Group, a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai. At least 1,000 multi-brand outlets and more than 200 franchise stores retail Pepe Jeans products in India.
