Indian branded fabric and fashion retailer Raymond has been ranked as the most attractive apparel brand of the country in a study of the most attractive brands of India in 2016. Innerwear brand Jockey and casualwear brand Levi’s take up second and third positions in the list, respectively. Zara tops in the fast fashion category within the apparel sector.
India’s Most Attractive Brands Study 2016 was conducted by Trust Research Advisory (TRA). It found that Ashima is the number one cotton fabric manufacturer and Monte Carlo takes the first position in the diversified category. Top brands in the formalwear, menswear and womenswear categories are Arrow, Peter England and Mango, respectively. Biba is the number one ethnic womenswear brand.
Wills Lifestyle is the top premium apparel brand and Fastrack is tagged number one in the branded fashion category. Gucci, Canali and Marc O’Polo are the top three brands in the luxury fashion category, according to the TRA study.
In the internet category, US-based online marketplace Amazon came across as the top brand, leaving even Google behind, which came in a close second. Flipkart is the third most popular internet brand in India, while Snapdeal takes up the fifth position, becoming the third most popular online retailer of India.
