Tata Group owned Trent’s ethnic wear brand Samoh has opened its second Bengaluru store in Jayanagar.
“This expansion marks a significant milestone in Samoh’s journey to bring refined elegance and premium occasion wear to fashion-forward individuals across India,” the company said in a press release.
The brand offers premium occasion wear for both men and women, distinguished by its blend of traditional and contemporary styles.
“It is our belief that this new store will resonate with all in the community for those who cherish and seek out refined elegance in their wardrobe,” said Venkatesalu P, CEO at Trent Ltd.
Samoh made its debut in April 2023 with the launch of its first store in Lucknow at Hazratganj, spanning an area of 1,800 square feet.
In Bengaluru, Samoh’s first store was set up in Indiranagar and now has four stores pan-India in Lucknow, Mumbai and Bengaluru and also has plans to open a store in Hyderabad.
Trent Ltd. which was set up in 1998 as the retail arm of the Tata Group, oversees a portfolio of apparel brands and retail chains like Westside, Zudio, Utsa, and Samoh.
In addition to its apparel offerings, Trent Ltd. manages the beauty, accessories, and decor brand Misbu, and operates the popular hypermarket and supermarket chain Star Bazaar.
The launch of the Jayanagar store underscores Samoh’s commitment to enhancing accessibility to premium ethnic wear, combining traditional aesthetics with modern sensibilities.
