Jaipur Rugs, a marketer of hand knotted branded carpets will be showcasing its widest ever variety of its products at India Carpet Expo (ICE) to be held at Varanasi from October 11.
“This year, Jaipur Rugs will have the biggest stand at the four-day event, showcasing the widest variety of the company’s award-winning rugs,” a company release said.
“At ICE, visitors can get close and personal with beautiful works created by Jaipur’s leading designers and its unique pan India network of artisans,” the release said.
Jaipur Rugs has partnered with designers from around the globe including Kavi from India, Jenny Jones from Australia and Luli Sanchez from the U.S.
“A network of 40,000 artisans from across 600 villages create carpets for Jaipur Rugs, who are given fair wages and further training and education to uplift their lives and communities,” the company said.
“This year’s expo promises to be an exciting event and we are proud to be able to showcase our talented artisans’ creations in the biggest stand at ICE,” Yogesh Chaudhary, director, Jaipur Rugs said.
“Our hardworking artisans create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind carpets and we want the world to see the fruits of their labour,” he added.
Organised by the Carpet Export Promotion Council of India, ICE provides a platform for international buyers to discover the most beautiful handmade carpets, rugs and other floor coverings from across India.
