Over 40 countries representing in Sourcing at Magic, a subsidiary of UBM Fashion Group and the fashion industry’s link to the entire global supply chain will be held in Las Vegas from February 20-23, 2017. The event offers an incredible source of inspiration, education and resources that keeps the fashion industry moving and drives businesses forward.
This is the largest biannual US trade show for the global retail fashion industry and supply chain, especially apparel, footwear and accessories.
Sourcing at Magic will take a look at how the Trump administration may impact various free trade agreements and international trade relationships. Costume designers Kairo Courts from TV series ‘Atlanta’ and Tiffany Hasbourne from ‘Baller’s’ will host a chat about using fashion to tell a story, create a character and set trends. Experts will analyze the issues and the cause and effect between the supply chain and recent challenges in the global economy, such as the elimination of TPP, the continued rise of costs in China and trade issues between the US and China.
Industries experts will discuss how the next line of wearables are both functional but fashionable. Live demonstrations of the latest innovations will also be held during the event. An African Pavilion with over 11 countries will also be set up at the event.
Fabric trend galleries, featuring show floor exhibitors and trends for SS ‘18 by Fashion Snoops will be showcased at Sourcing at Magic. Morphew/Paradox NYC will be providing attendees with insight on vintage prints, embellishments and shape concepts from around the world in a new trend display and Pantone returns with a new Colour of the Year for 2017: Greenery.
