The Swedish multinational fast fashion brand H&M sales development for may 2017 including VAT increased 4 per cent in local currencies in the review period compared to corresponding period previous year. In the first half of the month, sales were affected by tough market conditions in several countries. However, it improved considerably in the second half.
The company also released the sales development for the second quarter of the current fiscal. In the reporting period from March one to May 31, sales including VAT increased 5 per cent in local currencies compared to the corresponding quarter the previous year.
