The Sri Lankan apparel exporter ‘Brandix Group’ staged a unique fashion show themed Urban Collective at the just wrapped up edition of Sri Lanka Design Festival (SLDF).
Jointly created by the company’s in-house designers and its integral business units, the show offered clothing solutions meant for an array of activities, ranging from yoga to night out.
Enhanced with metallics, neon colours, laser cuts, sequins and leather, the show displayed both modern and traditional styles in casualwear, activewear, lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear and eveningwear items.
The event also highlighted the company’s capabilities in manufacturing, finishing and printing of fabrics and its proficiency in producing bespoke clothing for any occasion.
One of the pioneers of the concept of ‘total solutions’ in Sri Lanka’s apparel sector, Brandix supplies products to some of the top retail brands in the US and Europe. The group is also a recipient of an international award for eco-friendly manufacture and commitment to environmental best practices.
Conceptualised in 2009, the Sri Lanka Design Festival is one of South Asia’s most business-friendly and commercially successful global platforms for design and related industries. Apart from the fashion runway, the event also hosted fashion and apparel industry centric forums and exhibitions on contemporary crafts and interior design.
