Prints by Radhika, a women’s luxury occasion wear brand has opened a new Jaipur store and will retail a selection of bridal wear, ready-to-wear, demi-couture, and traditional style couture.
The store has designs for each element of a traditional Indian wedding from Mehandi ensembles to bridesmaid dresses to classic red lehengas for the bride’s main look.
“Antiques, traditional artwork, and cherry red walls in the fitting room create a regal atmosphere inside the store and the resort wear segment of the store has a tropical feel,” a press release from the brand said.
By expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint, Prints by Radhika aims to reach new customer demographics ahead of the sprint wedding season.
The interior of the flagship store was conceptualised by interior designers Kushagra and Manali from Jaipur-based architecture business Arghusk.
“Our design language for the store is influenced by a lot from our surroundings blended with the contemporary feel of the brand’s overall aesthetic,” said Prints by Radhika’s founder Radhika Chopra.
“We chose English Jaipur pink colour for the interiors and exteriors as it represents Jaipur, the city I was born and raised in,” she added.
“Even the rugs at the store are from Jaipur Rugs and the chandeliers and pendant lights are inspired by the palaces and havelis such as Rambagh Palace and The City Palace in Jaipur,” the designer stated.
Prints by Radhika offers hand-painted prints which Radhika Chopra paints herself, which is also the USP of the brand.
Each print is derived from the designer’s paintings, with a blending of themes, colours, patterns and fabrics.
They are her signature style as most of them are inspired by nature and its abstract elements, along with colours she loves.
